Report from Trustees Meeting 12th May

We embraced spring with new hope, after writing to three priests in our deanery regarding the year of faith, we were invited to lead the Stations of the Cross in St. Bernadette's parish, St. Mary's in Brigg and Holy Souls in Scunthorpe. It was very uplifting for our group and despite the logistics of transport we had a good attendance and were made very welcome in each parish.

St. Mary's invited our group to a Service of Healing on St. Patrick's day, everyone was spiritually uplifted and enjoyed a lovely tea afterwards,  with some very  impromptu music and songs. We would like to thank everyone for their kindness and feel we have made a good start to Our Year of Faith.

We were invited to Jane and Mark's Sheep farm in Messingham, and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon feeding the lambs. They were divided into two pens for the ones that needed special attention which they received in abundance from Tim, Michael and Sinead. Jane explained all about the numbers on them and how they are identified. After the lambs were fed with great love and care they were duly named after Tim, Michael and Sinead. Jane is going to keep us updated on their progress. After our visit we were all invited to Mandy's for afternoon tea which was delicious.  Thank you to everyone who helped make our day special.

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Joanna's uncle Thomas Robinson. We offer our deepest sympathy to Liz, Steve and family at this sad and difficult time.
