Saints today and in the future.

This year as a follow on to our “year of faith” within the Sunshine Club we are going to investigate what a saint is and what we think of as saints. This includes people that are not saints, should they be?  Do you know the names of any saints?  Response.

Yes Saul. He persecuted Christians in the name of Rome. So that tells us that to be a saint you do not have to be good and holy all your life. It is more a case of, if God comes into a person’s heart and he or she responds to him with their whole heart it can be possible for them to be recognised as saints.

This does not mean they will be recognised as saints. When we meet god in heaven we may be surprised who is there and who are true saints. Is there anyone you can think of who is dead and isn’t a saint and who perhaps should be ? Response.
