We have had a busy autumn, hosting the Annual Mass and following the project of work. Stuart comes to most meetings and is making slow progress. When he is able to contribute, his words are measured and what he has to say is marvellous. We’re very pleased to have him back.

We were sad to say goodbye to Martin Hussey (‘Amos’), who has moved down south to be nearer his sister. He has made a great contribution to the group and the parish and we will miss him. Hopefully, he will be able to join us for the Llandudno trip at Easter.

We have taken the words of the project absolutely seriously and actually done something for someone else! Last week, we organised an open evening in aid of the Syrian refugees in Calais, and made £300 on the night, which has now risen to nearly £400. It was a good opportunity to invite people in to our group and one or two of them expressed a desire to join us! Danny played a great part in helping at the AlterNativity event, which raised a staggering £7,500 on the day and the mail order facility is open to December 12.
